Lauren and I had a heck of a time with her senior session. Every time we set up a session something came up and we had to reschedule. It got to the point that I was worried that we would never actually shoot our session, but as fate had it, we shot on one of the nicest days of fall.

So after all that craziness, I finally got to shoot her senior session at Tower Grove Park. And you know what? It was awesome! The girl came to the session with so much confidence that it blew me away. She had confidence, she had beauty; she had it all to create a completely fierce senior session. I was in love.

Lauren, I loved getting to know you. You are beautiful and I just love the confidence that you brought to our shoot. Thank you for choosing me to document you. Now, go on and take college by storm. Much love.

Couples: Matthew & Jennifer

I shot Jennifer and Matthew’s wedding earlier this year and fell in love with them, and lucky me I got to meet up with them for newlywed photos last week. Jennifer + Matthew + AMAZING fall day in St. Louis = Awesomeness!

Seniors: Marie

She looked uncomfortable. I took a few shots, told her to take a deep breath and relax, but she still seemed uncomfortable. I took a few more snaps and told her to change clothes, and from the moment she put on her second outfit there was a whole new women in front of me.

In all realness, Marie ended up being one of my favorite girls to ever shoot. Her transformation from uncomfortable lady to super model fierce (total beast mode) was just beautiful, and to top it all off the girl has the personality of a goddess, and that is a gift from God.

Marie, darling, you are a supermodel. What I love most about you is that you are 100% YOU. I love that you wore chucks to homecoming and I love that you rock a leather jacket daily. After I left our shoot I was so much more in love with my job. YOU made me fall even more in love with my job. Don’t. Ever. Change.

Marie, you are the definition is BEAUTIFUL.

Seniors: Maggie

As most seniors are when we first meet, Maggie was nervous, but it honestly took all of 2 seconds (and her mom leaving the room) for her to get her groove on. Once on, shooting this beautiful lady was a snap. Well, a few snaps really.

It took all of 5 minutes of shooting Marie for me to fall in love with her. You could tell she was raised right. You could tell she respected herself as a young women and she had values that she actually really did value. This woman is going to do big things one day. These are not characteristics that you see in young people too much anymore, and to top it all off the girl is SICK! I mean, she is just super fierce in every way and I was in love.

Mags, girl, you rock. I loved getting to know you a bit at the shoot. Go destroy Mizzou then take journalism by storm, and when you become a world-renowned photojournalist remember me. Much love, lady.

We walked around south city and founds some REALLY awesome places to shoot.

Dance Out Loud.

At a recent wedding I fell in love, ya’ll. I mean like, head-over-heels in love with the cutest little girl ever. From the time the music started and the dance floor opened, she was up. She danced like no one was around. She shook, jumped, and laughed as hard as I have ever heard it. And as I watched her shake what her mamma gave her, I could not help but be in love.

So here is to the cutest little girl ever, to living life to the fullest and of course, to dancing like no one is watching, even when in fact EVERYONE is.

Engaged: Lauren & Jeremy

A little while ago I headed to Creve Coeur Park to meet two very special people. From the very first hello I knew that Lauren and Jeremy were one those couples everyone wants to be friends with. They are SO beautiful, fierce and just down to Earth. I appreciate their genuine hearts. What really stood out is their ability to make each other laugh at the drop of a hat. It was beautiful. THEY are beautiful.

Lauren & Jeremy, I loved getting to know you guys a little at the engagement session. You guys are so gorgeous together and I am SO excited for your May 2012 wedding. I feel so honored that you chose me as your wedding photographer, thank you. Until then, enjoy your engagement photos.

And they have one cute little doggy.

How cute are you? SO SO cute. Oh and Lauren, you’re gorgeous.

Jeremy has one of the best laughs ever. Its awesome.

Portraits: Vincent

Meet one of the cutest 5 year old kids I have ever shot. I give you Vincent. This high energy little boy rocked it out in front of the camera, WHILE being 100% adorable.

The one thing I absolutely love about him was his sweet heart. Even though we met for the first time on shooting day, it was evident in how open he was with me that he has a HUGE heart for people. I, of course, fell in LOVE with him and his bright blue eyes.
